NORCROSS — An 11‑year‑old boy was shot by a 15‑year‑old inside a home in unincorporated Norcross on Sunday evening, according to Gwinnett County police.
Officers responded around 7 p.m. to a home on the 2500 block of Gwinn Drive, where they found the younger boy with a gunshot wound. He was taken to Arthur M. Blank Hospital and is expected to survive.
Police said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
Due to the ages of those involved, police have not released further details.
