The following reports were filed by the Gwinnett County Police Department between June 26, 2018 and July 10, 2018.

  • An incident in the 3900 block of Oak Park Drive in Suwanee resulted in a suspect being charged with battery and theft by taking.

  • An individual was charged with theft by shoplifting and obstructing law enforcement after police responded to a call in the 3700 block of Buford Drive in Buford.

  • In the 3300 block of Buford Drive in Buford, two Sugar Hill residents were arrested for theft by shoplifting.  

  • Police arrested a person in the 2300 block of Buford Highway in Buford and charged the person with intent to distribute marijuana and loitering/prowling.

  • In an incident in the 2400 block of Buford Dam Road in Buford, a person was arrested and charged with possession of heroin.  The person also had outstanding warrants.

  • A call from the 3200 block of Sardis Church Road in Buford resulted in an arrest for theft by shoplifting.

  • An incident at Buford Highway and Hamilton Mill Road led to an arrest for obstructing law enforcement, firefighters, and EMT.

  • An individual was charged with simple battery and criminal trespass following an incident in the 1800 block of Appaloosa Mill Court in Buford.

  • DUI arrests have increased.  Incidents occurred at the following locations: South Bogan Road at Hamilton Mill Road in Buford; Moore Road at Level Creek Road in Sugar Hill; Stone Manor Drive at Rock Manor Way in Buford; I-85 NB, 1.5 miles north of Buford Drive in Buford.
