Live Healthy Gwinnett is now accepting applications for plots at three area Harvest Gwinnett community gardens for the 2022-2023 growing season.

Raised plots are available for a $35 fee, and gardeners are required to perform 12 hours of community volunteer service yearly for general care and upkeep of the garden.

Plots are available at the following locations in the north Gwinnett area:

• Dacula Park Community Garden at 205 Dacula Road
• E. E. Robinson Park Community Garden at 885 Level Creek Road in Sugar Hill
• Peachtree Ridge Park Community Garden at 3170 Suwanee Creek Road in Suwanee

Spectrum Autism Support Group is seeking nominations for teacher appreciation recognition for Gwinnett educators who excel at supporting students with autism, and the deadline to submit a nomination is Tuesday, March 15.

The organization will recognize the nominees during Autism Awareness Month in April and deliver gifts to all nominated schools.

Spectrum is a nonprofit organization that provides support, education and resources for individuals and families impacted by autism, serving more than 1,500 families in Gwinnett and the surrounding metro Atlanta area. The organization offers support groups, summer day camps, overnight camps, social skills groups, respite, community training and family events.
