Diana Lawson Phillips, age 73, of Jefferson, GA passed away on Friday, March 8, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Reathel Lawson; grandson, Zachary Taylor Inyamah; and sister, Donna Thompson. She is survived by her husband of fifty-four years, Herbert J. Phillips, Jefferson, GA; children, Tammy Phillips Smith and husband Boyd, Madison, GA, Terri Denise Phillips, Conyers, GA, Daniel Lamar Phillips, Lawrenceville, GA, Staci Michelle Tomo, Conyers, GA; grandchildren, Morgan Smith Simmons, Austin Robert Smith, Kinzie Aleece Klements, Jadalyn Eve Tomo, Heather Grace Smith, Justin Abraham Malmberg; great-grandchildren, Weston Kayden Christopher Tomo, Caleb Abel Jermiah Klements, Carter Jaxon Anthony Klements, Ella Morgan Simmons; brother, James Harold Lawson, Commerce, GA; sisters, Frances and John Fuentes, California, Jennifer Lawson Farley, Alabama; several sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Phillips was born on January 9, 1946, in Turtletown, TN. She was a 1964 graduate of North Gwinnett High School, Suwanee, GA and attended Belleville College. She was a homemaker and a member of Peachtree Road Baptist Church in Suwanee, GA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Reed officiating. A graveside service will follow at Duncan Creek Congregational Church Cemetery, 3868 Braselton Hwy, Buford, Georgia, 30519 with Rev. Paul Davis officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 10, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Flanigan Funeral Home, 4400 S.
