BUFORD — The Gwinnett County Police Department has received notice that the Mall of Georgia had suspicious threats call made against it. Officers are actively investigating this incident at the Mall of Georgia.
“Officers are teaming up inside the mall and checking all businesses,” the Gwinnett PD stated in an email to the Voice. “Mall management has not closed the mall at this time.”
Gwinnett PD wants visitors to know that they can expect to see a heavy police presence at the mall.
