Addie Mae Haddon Wilkerson, age 96, of Suwanee, GA passed away Monday, February 11, 2019. She was preceded in death by husband, Amie Lee Wilkerson; parents, John and Nellie Scott Haddon; and sister. Johnnie Faye Thompson. Mrs. Wilkerson is survived by children, Ellen Meyer Duke, Suwanee, GA, Aleta Meyer Gray and husband Michael, Coden, AL, Gerald Lee Wilkerson and wife Donna Lynn, Theodore, AL, Dale Anthony Wilkerson and wife Wendy, Bayou La Batre, AL; eight grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; ten great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Wilkerson was born on December 20, 1922, in Blanket, Texas. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilkerson was a member of Covenant Life Church, Lawrenceville, GA, and a former member of Heron Bay Baptist Church in Heron Bay, AL where she was a longtime resident before moving to Georgia to be with her loving family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Home with Rev. Chris Hyatt, pastor of Covenant Church officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 17 at the funeral home.
