SUWANEE — The Waffle House located at 2915 Lawrenceville Suwanee Road in Suwanee was visited by a health inspector on July 1, 2020. The restaurant received numerous violations on their health inspection resulting in a failing score of 65.
The inspector noted black mold in the interior of the ice machine and in the tubing of the ice maker. Multiple issues where cross-contamination could occur were observed including raw hamburger meat packages stored on top of packs of cheese. Sanitizer buckets with little to no sanitizer in them were being used. Several violations for improper temperatures of food being stored were noted as well.
