Joy Waters Fowler is a contributing writer for The North Gwinnett Voice, where she shares stories highlighting the arts, community, faith and the people making a difference across North Gwinnett. An accomplished recording artist, songwriter, producer and content creator, Fowler has spent more than three decades working in music and media. She studied vocal performance at Georgia State University. In addition to her creative work, Fowler is the executive director of Becca's Closet Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that provides formal attire to high school students in need. She is passionate about mentoring, volunteerism and using storytelling to inspire, encourage and strengthen the community.
