The Buford High School Class of 2019 racked up an impressive $6.9 million in scholarships.  That is a whole lot of hard work that recipients put into their work while at BHS. Here are the recipients and the scholarships they earned.

The Buford Businessmen Scholarship Fund is an endowment created by the Buford City Board of Education and the Buford City Commission.  This fund is perpetual, and the interest earned is utilized to fund the annual scholarships. Approximately, $500,000 is currently earning interest on behalf of Buford City School students.  Contributions are welcomed by anyone and can be made by visiting Buford City Hall.

The Atlanta Journal Cup is one of the oldest programs sponsored by the Atlanta Journal and Constitution.  The award honors a student who represents Triple A Excellence for the Class of 2019.  Tonight the AJC is awarding a trophy cup and the Buford High School Academic Booster Club is awarding a check for $1,000 to the recipient of this honor.
