The Buford High School Varsity Football Player of the Week is #85 senior Hayden Olsen. Olsen is a 5 ft. 9 in., 160 lbs. punter/kicker for the Wolves. During the Newton County vs. Buford (Buford Homecoming) game, Olsen had 5 punts for an average of 41.4 yards, completed 5 out of 5 PATs, and had 5 out of 6 kickoffs for touchbacks. During the third quarter, Olsen kicked a 55-yard punt that had Newton County at its own 1-yard line. This punt led to an interception and touchdown for Buford.
