Staff Reports – (Suwanee) – It’s not too late to get up from your couch or recliner and hoof it down to Suwanee for a run or walk today.
The Big Peach Running Co., located at 320 Town Center Ave. in the Suwanee Town Center next to Mellow Mushroom (run first, pizza and beer later), offers free group runs every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m. from now until January 2020.
Runners in this group come in all shapes and sizes, so don’t be intimidated. You can run or walk 2, 3, 4, or 6 miles, and all paces are welcome. Runs begin outside the store, make a lap around Town Center Park and then head out to the Suwanee Creek Greenway. The scenery, especially this time of year, is gorgeous and the camaraderie is a welcome change if you’re used to running solo.
