The body of a missing Gwinnett County woman was found Tuesday in the crawlspace of a Barrow County residence, and a suspect has been arrested in connection with concealing her death.
The body of Kim Mason, who was first reported missing out of Gwinnett County on Sunday, April 4, was discovered Tuesday, April 6, at 31 Tanners Bridge Road in Bethlehem.
A suspect, Adam Heard, 40, was arrested and charged with concealing the death of another, tampering with evidence, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, theft by taking — motor vehicle, theft by taking and violation of probation. He is being held at the Barrow County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending based on the results of an autopsy.
