Buford junior Tavye Borders announced via Twitter on Sunday, Jan. 15 her decision to verbally commit to play softball for Boston College.
“When you know, you know! From the moment I stepped foot on campus, BC (Boston College) felt like home,” Borders said in her announcement on Twitter.
Borders has been a starter for the Lady Wolves since she was a freshman. The outfielder played in 31 games and had a batting average of .377 during the 2022 season. She was part of the Lady Wolves’ run to capture the 2022 GHSA Class AAAAAAA State Championship title.
