BRASELTON — The Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Braselton woman on Saturday, Nov. 7 for allegedly shooting a man in the chest with a BB gun seriously injuring him.
Deputies responded to a domestic call in the 5100 block of Daylily Drive in Braselton on Saturday afternoon. Upon arrival, deputies found April Kathleen Dills, age 50 inside of the home with the injured man, age 61. Hall County Fire Services began treating the man for serious injuries to his chest and transported him to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.
Deputies began investigating the incident and found that Dills had first hit the victim in the chest with the pump-action air BB rifle. She then proceeded to shoot the victim in his chest with the pump-action air BB rifle. Dills and the victim reside in the home together.
Dills was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery and battery. All charges are under the Family Violence Act.
Dills was taken and booked into the Hall County Jail where she remained as of Monday afternoon with no bond.
This case remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
