Aven Reinhart is a fourth grader at Buford Senior Academy. Having read over a million words already this school year, Aven is an avid reader who enjoys reading higher level books.
Her favorite book is “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane” by Kate DiCamillo. Aven says DiCamillo is her favorite author.
“It is my favorite book because it really speaks (about) how one personality changes by everything it goes through,” Aven said. “I also chose that author because she wrote that book, and it really impressed me.”
“Aven is an enthusiastic reader who enjoys getting lost in a good book,” Aven’s ELA teacher, Kim Southerland, said. “She enjoys reading a variety of genres, which promotes her to excel as a creative writer and reader.”
Aven has a twin brother at BSA and has five pets at home, including two dogs and two cats. She plays softball, is a cheerleader and is also in the school’s drama club.
“She is so very kind, respectful, well spoken and caring,” said Emily Stewart, media specialist at BSA. “Aven is an absolute joy to have at BSA!”
