Bryan Oh

Meet Bryan Oh, a fifth-grader at the Buford Senior Academy who is being honored as this week’s Reader of the Week. Currently, Bryan’s teachers are Mrs. Currie and Mrs. Gulisano.

Bryan’s favorite book is Warriors, written by Erin Hunter. He says this is his favorite because he loves animals and fantasy novels; the book itself incorporates these elements through cats talking, living in clans, and being rivals to one another. Easily said, Bryan’s favorite book genre is fiction.

Bryan speaks, “Erin Hunter is my favorite author because she is the author of my favorite book and I love how she makes books so interesting.”

When asked what he loves most about reading, Bryan confidently answers, “I love how every book has a very interesting topic and the authors are very creative with their books and are able to make many series.”

When he’s not busy reading books, Bryan can be found playing table tennis and video games, however, reading is definitely his favorite.

Sara Blankenship, the Media Specialist at the Buford Senior Academy, speaks on Bryan’s outstanding love for reading. She says, “Bryan is a dedicated reader! He’s reading a huge series that has a lot of editions. So far, he seems to be enjoying tons of reading adventures.” She goes on, “With over 1,000,000 words before November, he’s doing a great job!”

Without a doubt, Bryan Oh is an extraordinary student with an undeniable love for reading. He is a true example of a Buford Wolf, and he will continue on to accomplish great things. Congratulations, Bryan!
