Meet Hudson Wood, a fifth-grader at the Buford Senior Academy. His teachers are Dr. Donna Duceatt and Ms. SaResa Williams. Hudson is this week’s Buford City Schools Reader of the Week. “Hudson is a fabulous reader and is willing to take on a reading challenge,” says Sara Blankenship, the media specialist at the Buford Senior Academy. “He encourages others to read by sharing his love of reading with his classmates!”
Hudson prefers to read books that fall into the adventure category. He says his favorite book is “The Blood of Olympus” by Rick Riordan. The book is the last installment of the series called “The Heroes of Olympus.” When asked why this particular book is his favorite, Hudson responds, “I got hooked on the series and it was really good.”
Besides reading, Hudson enjoys swimming and basketball. His favorite place in the world is Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. Hudson is a good brother to his one brother and one sister.
Congratulations to Hudson! Keep up the good work! Go Wolves!
