Meet Jackson Hill, a second-grader at Buford Academy.  He has been selected as this week’s Buford City Schools’ Reader of the Week.  Jackson’s teachers are Mrs. Carey and Mrs. Smallwood. “Jackson is such a kind-hearted young man.  He is such a hard worker on his reading,” says media specialist at Buford Academy, Mrs. Lana Nix. “When coming to the media center he is constantly found with the best smile ever.  Jackson is a student anyone can count on for help and is such an amazing friend.”

“Clifford the Big Red Dog” by Norman Bridwell is Jackson’s favorite series to read.  He also really enjoys reading about all things sports-related since some of his favorite activities are playing football and tag, as well as, playing football on the computer.  Jackson says his favorite color is orange.

Jackson is the son of Kevin and Vicheny Hill.  He has older siblings that are fourth-graders at Buford Senior Academy, twins John and Jennifer.

Congratulations to Jackson!  Keep up the good work! Go Wolves!
