The Buford High School competition cheerleading team placed second at the 2021-2022 GHSA Class AAAAAA State Cheerleading Championships, which were held Nov. 19 and 20 at the Macon Centreplex.
Creekview took first place in Class AAAAAA with Buford in second and Houston County placed third with Carrollton and Cambridge rounding out the top five.
The BHS competition cheerleading team went into the state championships as Region 8-AAAAAA Champions and were undefeated during its regular season. To view Buford’s routine at the state championships in Macon, go to click here.
