On Wednesday, April 3, 2019, Buford football standout Jalen Huff committed to Georgia Tech. Huff is a cornerback for Buford High School and will graduate in 2020.
Huff has had numerous college offers that have poured in since the summer of 2017. Colleges like South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Duke, North Carolina, Auburn, Notre Dame, and more sent offers to Huff. November 2, 2018, Huff committed to the Oklahoma Sooners but decommitted from Oklahoma on March 19, 2019.
Georgia Tech jumps into the pot on January 21, 2019, with an offer to Huff. Jalen Huff made two unofficial visits to Georgia Tech. The first visit was on March 4, 2019, and the second was on March 31, 2019. Georgia Tech must have made a good impression on Huff as he committed to the Yellow Jackets just three days later.
