The Buford High School varsity baseball player of the week is #13 Nathan Smith. The 6-foot-1-inch, 195-pound senior primarily plays the position of catcher for the Wolves, but he also plays third base.
The Tennessee commit had an exceptional time at bat during the PG High School Showdown in Hoover, Ala. Smith was 6-for-12 with a .500 batting average over the three-day tournament. He hit one double and two triples, as well as scored five runs and three RBIs for the Wolves, helping them bring home the tournament championship.
