The Buford High School varsity baseball player of the week is senior Kaden Martin. Martin is both an outfielder and a pitcher for the Wolves. During the opening playoff games against Kennesaw Mountain, Martin had five hits (two singles, one double and two home runs), five RBIs, a walk and a stolen base. For the series, he had a .500 batting average. Martin also had a great defensive effort against Kennesaw Mountain.
“Kaden has been a great addition to our team this year,” said assistant coach Drew Dasher. “He has come in and bought into the Buford Baseball culture and helped add to it. He has also been an asset to us this season by being a pitcher for our team.”
Congratulations, Kaden! Go Wolves!
