The Buford High School varsity baseball player of the week is senior outfielder Parker Walsh.
“Parker moved to the lead off spot for us for the last third of the season and did a phenomenal job,” said assistant coach Drew Dasher. “This week he had a really strong performance.”
For the week, Walsh had eight hits, two home runs, two doubles, four singles, three RBIs, three walks and had a .444 batting average. On the defensive side, Walsh had two run-saving catches in the outfield — one was a diving play to his right and the other was when he caught a deep ball in the gap.
Congratulations, Parker! Go Wolves!
The BHS Player of the Week is selected by the BHS coaching staff.
