Class of 2023’s J.T. McCullough was selected by Buford High School’s head wrestling coach, Tom Beuglas, to be featured in a BHS wrestling spotlight. McCullough is a four-year starter for the Wolves. He was the Gwinnett County and region champion last season in his weight class, and placed fourth at state.
This season, he is representing BHS in the 150-pound weight class and during the Archer Thanksgiving Invitational, he took home the championship trophy for that weight class.
McCullough is one of two seniors on the team this year and, according to Beuglas, his leadership has been invaluable.
Congratulations, J.T.!
