Senior Ty Gentry has been selected as a Buford High School player spotlight. Gentry represents the Buford varsity wrestling team in the 120-pound weight class. He stepped into a full time starter position this season.
During the Archer Thanksgiving Invitational, Gentry beat out all other wrestlers in the 120-pound weight class to claim the title.
Gentry is one of only two seniors this season. He and JT McCullough have stepped up and have been providing excellent leadership, Buford head coach Tom Beuglas says.
