Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigators, working as part of the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, have charged a Buford man with felony sexual exploitation of a minor after finding at least 300 pornographic images of children on his cell phone.
Daniel Allen McFalls, 27, was arrested Wednesday, March 22, and he remains in the Hall County Jail without bond.
According to investigators, the suspect’s phone was dropped off Oct. 20, 2022, at a cell phone repair shop in Gwinnett County, where an employee found pornographic images and contacted the Gwinnett County Police Department. When Gwinnett police determined the suspect lived in Hall County, the case was turned over to HCSO.
Forensic processing of the cell phone was completed last week and the data has been examined. Investigators found least 300 still photos of children, believed to be between the ages of 1 and 14, engaged in sexually explicit activity.
