A driver killed in an accident Monday, March 21, along Interstate 85 northbound in Suwanee has been identified as a Buford man.
According to Capt. Robert Thompson with the Suwanee Police Department, Jorge Zuno, 32, died in an accident involving the van he was driving and a tractor-trailer.
Next of kin has been notified.
No other injuries had been reported.
The accident, which occurred shortly before 2 p.m., initially shut down all lanes at exit 111 except the HOV lane. As of 3:19 p.m., the three left lanes were being opened. The two right lanes and the exit ramp were to remain closed.
At 4:46 p.m., all lanes and the exit ramp were open. Police and wrecker services were working on the shoulder, so drivers were asked to use caution.
