The Hall County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Buford man Tuesday, Sept. 13, and the suspect is charged with 11 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
Seth Daniel Marx, 20, of Sweetwater Trail, remains in the Hall County Jail with no bond. According to investigators, who were assisted by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, evidence was found that the suspect was in possession of multiple images of child pornography and had shared at least one video.
The initial investigation began in February following a cybertip, and investigators determined the suspect shared a video of a child being assaulted to an instant message platform. When his cell phone was seized as part of the investigation, an additional nine videos were discovered. Investigators do not think any of the victims are from the local area.
