A months-long investigation by the Gwinnett Police Internet Crimes against Children Taskforce has led to the arrest of a Buford man, who faces several charges related to sexual acts with a minor.
On Sept. 7, the taskforce opened an investigation into the sexual exploitation of a child, which led to the arrest of Gesart Hoxha, 20.
Hoxha is accused of facilitating the transport of a 12-year-old girl across state lines from Arlington, Texas, to Georgia. A search warrant executed at Hoxha’s residence at 1869 Appaloosa Lane in Buford led detectives to the discovery of explicit photos of the child, as well as large sums of cash. According to detectives, Hoxha and the child exchanged several messages online, including the explicit photos, before Hoxha and the child’s mother arranged a flight for the girl from Texas to Georgia and provided money for a hotel stay.
The girl’s mother, Adrienne Klein, 43, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, is charged with enticing a child for indecent purposes and cruelty to children in the second degree.
Hoxha faces the following charges in Gwinnett County:
- Child molestation
- Statutory rape
- Enticing a child for indecent purposes
- Employ/use minor to engage/assist person in sexually explicit conduct for visual medium
The Arlington Police Department has charged Hoxha with indecency with child by sexual contact.
Hoxha was arrested and booked into the Gwinnett County Jail on Nov. 5 and was released Dec. 15.
