Logan Ashton, the lone senior on the Buford Wolves varsity wrestling team has ended his impressive high school career with another win. Ashton participated in the invite-only Cliff Keen Dream Team Classic held at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, Illinois on April 6, 2019.
Ashton, representing Team USA won a 2 – 0 decision over Team Illinois’ Michael Leveille in the 113 lbs. weight class.
Ashton went to Illinois fresh off his win at the National High School Coaches Association or NHSCA championships held in Virginia Beach March 29-31, 2019. There Ashton won on a 13 – 3 decision over Virginia’s Clarence Lee-Green.
Ashton is Stanford University-bound in the Fall.
