Buford right-handed pitcher Emma Grace Williams announced Wednesday, Jan. 4, via Twitter that she has decided to commit to the Florida Atlantic University softball program. Williams has been a crucial part of the bullpen for the Buford softball program for three years.
The junior was the starting pitcher for eight games during the 2022 state championship season. She had an ERA of 0.71 for 39.33 innings on the mound. Williams gave up 24 hits and five runs (four earned), struck out 49 with an average of 8.72 strike outs per game and only walked three batters during the season.
