The Buford High School volleyball team hosted Forsyth Central and Dunwoody on Tuesday evening.
The Lady Wolves won in convincing fashion against Forsyth Central with set scores of 25-13, 25-9. Ashley Sturzoiu led the offense with 10 kills while Mikayla Hayden had 9 kills. Polly Cummings had another great performance with 28 assists.
Dunwoody was their next opponent and Buford also beat them. The Lady Wolves’ offensive standouts were Kiana Polk with eight kills, Sturzoiu with seven kills, Sydney Austin with six kills and Hayden with six kills.
Buford improves to 9-1 on their season.
In their previous games, Buford defeated Mill Creek (25-12, 25-9), Hebron Christian (25-12, 25-20), Tallulah Falls (25-8, 25-9), Jefferson (25-18, 25-18), Alpharetta (25-22, 25-21) and Centennial (25-16, 25-11). They have lost one game which was to St. Pius with set scores of 25-17, 25-17.
