BUFORD – Buford senior basketball stand out, Ashyia Willis announced her plans to further her academic and athletic career at Georgia College and University in Milledgeville next fall. The point guard made her decision public with a Tweet on Friday evening.
Willis has three state championship titles under her belt and will be looking for her fourth in a row in 2021. It will be the fifth straight championship title run for the Buford girl’s basketball team.
While Willis may be undersized for a basketball player coming in at just 5’5″ tall, her talent is undeniable as is her sheer grit. She earned All-Region honors during her junior year.
