BUFORD – Senior Elijah Turner, a running back for the Buford Wolves varsity football team announced on Tuesday that he has chosen to sign with the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
Turner who is 6 ft. 185 lbs. was a key playmaker for Buford this past season. He battled a few injuries but still put forth some impressive stats. He ended the year with 102 carries for 782 yards and 14 touchdowns. Turner was also a large part of the special teams with 4 punt returns and 8 kickoff returns.
