Buford High School Class of 2017 alumna, Erin Marsh is to compete at the U.S. Olympic Trials for track and field in hopes of earning a spot on the U.S. Olympic Track and Field Team. Marsh will compete in the heptathlon at the U.S. Olympic Trials Saturday, June 26 and Sunday, June 27, 2021, at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
Marsh is fresh off of a fourth-place finish at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. For that performance, she has picked up USTFCCCA First-Team All America honors. The Duke University senior had a great 2020-2021 season with a bronze medal for the pentathlon at the 2021 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships and another USTFCCCA First-Team All America honors for the indoor championships. Marsh also earned three ACC silver medals this past season.
