On Wednesday, Buford High School rising senior Ryan McKinnis took to Twitter to announce that he has decided to commit to the Appalachian State University football program.
McKinnis is a six-foot-two, 200-pound running back/linebacker for the defending state champions.
Appalachian State University located in Boone, N.C. won out over 12 other schools including Duke, Georgia State, Eastern Carolina, Georgia Southern, Arkansas State and Colorado.
