Calvin Lloyd, age 70, of Buford, GA, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Ruth Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Betty Ann Witt Lloyd; daughter and son-in-law, Amy B. and Christopher McGregor, Buford, GA; grandson, Ryan McGregor, Buford, GA; brother and sister-in-law, David and Mary Lloyd, Lebanon, TN; sister-in-law, Donna Garrett, Louisville, KY; niece, Jennifer Lloyd, Johnson City, TN; nephews, Clay (Shannon) Garrett, Drayton, Alberta, Canada, Allen (Lena) Garrett, Louisville, KY, James Garrett, Louisville, KY, Jeffrey Lloyd, Lebanon, TN. Mr. Lloyd was born July 25, 1948, in Jackson, TN. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army. Mr. Lloyd was a 1966 graduate of Durrett High School, Louisville, KY and was a 1970 graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors Degree. Mr. Lloyd was retired from Courier-Journal Newspaper Company, Louisville, KY, after thirty years of service. He was a member of Ivey Creek Baptist Church, Buford, GA.
