Gwinnett Solid Waste Management and Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful are celebrating Earth Day, which is Friday, April 22, by hosting a recycling event the following day.
Residents can bring their hard-to-recycle items to Coolray Field between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday, April 23. Coolray Field is at 2500 Buford Drive in Lawrenceville.
The following limits and fees will apply:
- Paper — Limit of five copier paper boxes
- Electronics — No fee for computers; $35 cash fee per projection or console TV, $15 cash fee per monitor or television, $5 cash fee per printer
- Paint — Limit of 10 gallons per vehicle
- Tires — Limit of eight; no dealer tires
