Beginning at sundown Monday, July 3, the city of Sugar Hill will light up the sky above E. E. Robinson Park during its annual Sparks in the Park event.
In addition to the fireworks show, the event will kick off at 6:30 p.m. with food trucks, vendors, activities and a free concert featuring country music duo Crawford & Power and opening act The Waymores.
Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and refreshments. Food trucks will be parked at the entrance to Sugar Hill Elementary School, including Small’s Big Taste, G Sisters Restaurant, Rita’s Italian Ice and Candy World Drinks and Treats.
Parking at the Level Creek E. E. Robinson Park North entrance lot will be limited to those with Americans with Disabilities Act decals and plates. Guests may park at Sugar Hill Elementary School at 939 Level Creek Road, Sugar Hill Church at 5091 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard and E. E. Robinson Park South at 885 Level Creek Road and use sidewalks to walk to the event at E. E. Robinson Park North, which is a .3- to 1-mile walk, depending on the lot. No shuttle service will be provided for this event.
