Coffee with a Cop, a program hosted by the Gwinnett County Police Department, will be held this week in Sugar Hill.
From 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, officers with the department will meet with residents at the Diner at Sugar Hill at 4500 Nelson Brogdon Boulevard.
According to the department, the Coffee with a Cop outreach initiative is intended to break down barriers between police officers and the residents they serve by allowing opportunities for residents to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know officers serving the community.
