The town of Braselton will celebrate Independence Day on Tuesday, July 4, with a patriotic parade, a festival, live music and, of course, a fireworks display.
Celebrate Braselton July 4th Festival and Fireworks, which will be held from 5 to 10 p.m., will include a concert featuring The Soul Purpose Band on the Town Green, child-friendly activities throughout the downtown Braselton area, food trucks and local dining and shopping experiences. Admission is free.
Event attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Tents and umbrellas are not permitted on the Town Green.
Schedule of events
- 5 p.m. — Food trucks begin serving customers
- 6 to 6:30 p.m. — Patriotic parade along Ga. Highway 53
- 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. — The Sole Purpose Band performs
- At dark — 20-minute fireworks display with viewing areas along Ga. Highway 53 in downtown Braselton and Hoschton

- Event attendees are advised to not park on sidewalks or in front of residences as vehicles will be towed
