District 4 Commissioner Matthew Holtkamp was honored by the Association County Commissioners of Georgia for Academic Achievement in the Lifelong Learning Academy at its 2024 Annual Conference.

The conference took place in Chatham County, where each year the ACCG celebrates county leadership.

The Lifelong Learning Academy is an educational program that provides county officials with experience to assist them with governing at a local level. The program was created with input from county commissioners who identified courses based on the issues and decision-making challenges they face regularly.

“The opportunity to learn and grow through this program is invaluable, and I am committed to applying what I’ve learned to better address the needs and challenges of our community,” said Holtkamp in a press release.
