Beginning tonight, asphalt paving will necessitate single-lane closures on I-85 in both directions between the Liberty Church Road (Jesse Cronic Road) overpass bridge in Barrow County and SR 53 in Jackson County.
Single-lane closures will also be utilized in Gwinnett County northbound from Hamilton Mill Road to Spout Springs Road and southbound from Flowery Branch Road to Spout Springs Road for bridge construction.Â
All work will occur Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, Friday from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday, and Saturday from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. Sunday.
Traffic pacing activity will also occur in each direction from Monday through Saturday night. Pacing activities will extend northbound from Hamilton Mill Road to SR 53 and southbound from SR 53 to Spout Springs Road. Pacing will begin at 9 p.m. nightly and continue until 5 a.m. each morning.
