Vaccine

Gwinnett County residents who receive a COVID-19 vaccine during a drive-up clinic in Suwanee this weekend will receive a $100 gift card while supplies last.

Finish Strong Together and the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners will host a vaccine clinic for adults and children age 5 and older from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 10, and Saturday, Dec. 11, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12. The drive-up clinic, offered through Emergent Testing, will be held at 3110 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road in Suwanee in the empty parking lot between the Shell and Chevron gas stations.

Pediatric, adult first-dose and second-dose shots, as well as boosters for those who are eligible, will be offered. Vaccines are free. Insurance cards are not required, but are recommended. For those without insurance, vaccines are covered through the CARES Act.

Those who have received at least one dose of the vaccine should bring a CDC vaccination card.

The vaccine process will take about 10 minutes and recipients will be monitored for at least 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine to ensure no adverse reactions.

Appointments are not necessary, but participants may pre-register for contactless service here.
