BUFORD – Drivers headed down Hamilton Mill Road on Wednesday afternoon encountered heavy delays due to a fatal car crash.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Hamilton Mill Road and Pucketts Mill Road in unincorporated Buford. Police said that a SUV slammed into a bus that was carrying five students from nearby Ivy Creek Elementary School.
The driver of the SUV was killed. No one on the bus sustained any injuries.
