A new roundabout under construction at the intersection of Ga. Highway 211 and CR 47/Hog Mountain Road will require traffic shifts along the roadways to accommodate construction.
The single lane closures and traffic shifts on Ga. Highway 211 and CR 47/Old Hog Mountain Road are expected to be installed Monday, April 12, weather permitting, and drivers will experience delays traveling through the area.
Ga. Highway 211 will shift to the right of the existing alignment, while CR 47/Old Hog Mountain Road will shift to the left of existing alignment. There is no detour and work will be done with flagging operations.
Drivers are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling through work zones, stay alert and watch for workers.
The overall project has a completion date slated for April 2022.
