A portion of Buford Dam Road will be closed temporarily for roadway maintenance beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 8.
According to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District Project Management Office at Lake Sidney Lanier, the work is expected to be completed by 5 p.m. During the temporary closure, drivers should use GA State Road 20 as an alternate route.
The following parks with entrances inside the work area on Buford Dam Road will also be closed:
- Lower Pool East
- Lower Overlook
- Lower Pool West
- West Bank Turn-out
- West Bank
