Fire destroys businesses on Holiday Road in Buford

BUFORD — A massive fire engulfed a pair of businesses located in a large metal building at 5784 Holiday Road in Buford just before 7 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020.  Hall County Fire Services, assisted by the Gwinnett County Fire Department battled the blaze and was able to knock down the fire at approximately 8:15 a.m.

Two businesses were located in the building, Bulldog Carts and Slade Marine.  No one was inside the business at the time of the fire.

One canine was found deceased in the building according to Hall County Fire Services PIO Division Chief Zach Brackett.

Hall County is saying that the fire is accidental in nature but the exact cause has not been determined as of yet.

The building appears to be a complete loss.
