A Flowery Branch resident is facing charges related to possession and distribution of child pornography.
Teddy Fischer, 47, was arrested Thursday, June 3, by Hall County Sheriff’s Office investigators and Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force
investigators. Fischer is charged with two felony counts of electronic exploitation of a minor.
The local investigation began Wednesday, May 19, when agents received a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. A search warrant was then executed by investigators at Fischer’s home in the 5000 block of Hog Mountain Road on Wednesday, June 2. During the search, agents seized several electronic devices, and additional charges are possible following forensic processing.
Fisher remained in the Hall County Jail without bond on Friday, June 4.
