Tobi Olawole, a rising senior at Buford High School announced via Twitter on Monday afternoon his commitment to further his academic and football careers at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina in the fall of 2022.
Olawole has helped the Buford Wolves football team to back-to-back state championships in 2019 and 2020. Furman extended an offer to the six-foot-two, 185-pound wide receiver/defensive back after seeing him in action at a camp at Furman University.
Olawole is a dual-sport athlete who participates in both football and track and field. He was part of the fastest team in the state in the 4 x 200-meter relay in the 2021 season.
